HQH Steel Blue Star is a 2022 Grullo Roan filly out of HQH Steel Saber and a HQH Rockstar a beautiful blue roan mare.  Her sister topped the sale last year as a 3yr old and her 2yr old sister HQH Shasta sells this year as well.  Rockstar has always had top of the line colts.  They are heavy muscled, pretty headed and good to handle.  They are intelligent and trainable with plenty of speed and agility.  Steel Blue Star is no different, she is quick as a cat and moves with natural ease.  She should mature to be around 15 to 15.1H.  Her Top side has plenty of AAA speed from the Smoky Music Too line, cow sense and Superior Heading/heeling from the Wolf Creek Joes Song line and the Watch Thirsty Joe line rounds it out with Halter Champions.  This gal is a Rockstar!  You will love her.

She sells in our Annual Premiere Prospects Online Auction. We are offering 20 head of ranch raised quality Quarter Horses on Saturday, June 24, 2023 with a live preview on Friday, June 23rd. The preview starts at 10 a.m. at the Ranch, 2752 E 2200 N Hamer, Idaho 83425, a steak lunch will be provided. Sale horses can also be viewed on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Winning bidders may pick horses up immediatley following the sale.
